For 36 years, through the Richard D. Parsons Community Impact Awards, Time Warner has been recognizing and honoring employees whose outstanding civic and community engagement is making a positive impact in the lives of others. Two Warner Bros. employees, Dawn Geerlings, Director, User Interface Group, Warner Home Video Creative Services, and Cat Channon, Director, International Integrated Communications, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, UK, are recipients of this year’s awards, and each received $5,000 to donate to the charities they support — Children of the Night, Downtown Dog Rescue and GamesAid.
Philanthropy and community engagement have long been part of Warner Bros.’ company values. Thanks to the example set by our colleagues, Warner Bros. continues to create new and valuable opportunities for employees to give back. This year, during Warner Bros.’ Impact Global Volunteer Week, more than 660 employees in 17 cities around the world participated in volunteer activities with charities, contributing over 2,100 hours of service to their local communities.
As many of our employees continue to do such inspiring volunteer work, Warner Bros. will continue to make it a priority to support their personal philanthropic interests.
