We value our employees and provide competitive benefits programs to support their well-being. Our program currently includes medical, dental, 401(k) savings, flexible spending accounts for healthcare and dependent care, transportation reimbursement accounts, disability management and life insurance offerings. We evaluate the company’s benefits and compensation practices on an ongoing basis to make sure that we are rewarding our employees fairly for their efforts.
Warner Bros. provides comprehensive medical benefits that offer flexibility and choice for employees and their families. Beginning with our medical options, employees are able to choose between two national Preferred Provider Organizations (PPOs) or from several Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs), depending on their location. Employees can elect dental coverage regardless of whether or not they participate in the medical program. In addition, Warner Bros.’ vision benefits provide access to a wide range of independent doctors, as well as a large retail optical network.
HEALTH SUPPORT PROGRAMS
Employees who enroll in either PPO option have access to a number of health support programs such as maternity support, cancer support and autism support. Employees are paired with a personal nurse or clinical specialist who is familiar with Time Warner’s benefit options and works with the appropriate health plan providers to create an integrated, tailored approach to help employees manage illness, maternity or injury.
The company’s financial benefits and services can help employees save money now and proactively plan for the future. After two months of employment, employees are automatically enrolled in the Time Warner 401(k) Savings Plan, unless they decide to opt out. The Company matches certain contributions to each employee’s 401(k) account, which vest based on years of service.
LIFE, ACCIDENT, AND LONG TERM DISABILITY INSURANCE
Beginning on the first day of work, employees are automatically enrolled in both company-paid basic life, accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance and long-term disability programs.
SAME-SEX SPOUSE TAX EQUALIZATION
Warner Bros. wants to ensure that all employees have the same access and opportunities — including pay and benefit opportunities — without regard to sexual orientation. Warner Bros. provides tax equalization to active U.S. employees in same-sex marriages, or, in states where same-sex marriage is not legal, same-sex domestic partnerships or civil unions to account for the additional taxes they pay for a spouse’s/partner’s health coverage.
COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AND FREEDOM OF ASSOCIATION
Warner Bros. respects the rights of all employees under applicable labor laws and the rights of all contract professionals who provide services to Warner Bros. under collective bargaining relationships. Contract professionals include writers, directors, actors, designers and others involved in the production of motion pictures and television programs.
